This past month has been a busy one – we’ve finished our project for the non-violence foundation, and the end result was a great success, both for us and for them. I’ll update more about this project once I’ve finished organizing all he parts to make it a “whole” project. There was no time for that after the final presentation – we moved straight on to the next part of our final projects. This part is (for me) an individual project where I’ll be branding and doing a web design for my friend Sophies newly started booking company “Bleeding hearts”. They focus on booking country and americana music acts to clubs in Stockholm. I got started on the project last week and it’s really fun to work with. To start out last week I did an analysis of the target groups, and I did some research and mood boarding. This week I’m in the middle of designing their logo, symbol and other graphic guidelines. The challenge in this project is to target the design the right amount. The target group is of course interested in a certain style of design, since it is connected to the music that they listen to. To balance this specific style with simplicity and especially on the web site usability is difficult, but a fun challenge!
Just published a new project in my portfolio. This is actually a project from last semester at Hyper Island. Our client was More Mobile Relations, and we got to work with qr-codes, which was very exiting! Check it out here.
Now we’re moving into the final parts of our education – exiting and scary at the same time! We’ve got a final project divided into two different parts now, and then the internship in November. Crazy how time flies!
Our group got a really exiting client for the first part of this module. ( 7 weeks ) We’re going to work for Non-Violence with their project One Billion Faces for Peace. We are very exited and it feels amazing to get the chance to try to make the world a better place rather than just make a fancy logo.
